A great sound can also arise from broken and fragmentary elements. The top of this violin is made of 154 broken pieces of spruce - from waste. In order to give the instrument a backbone from below, these are partially fiber-reinforced. The bottom is made of an exceptionally deeply flamed wood. For the painting we used the south Indian color resin dragon blood (in addition to the old amber recipe). The instrument has a strong, very centered tone.
