For me, violin making means giving the musician a voice with an instrument from my workshop. In addition, I enjoy the freedom in my studio to create new types of sound sculptures from time to time. They are experiments that have no limits of any tradition or expectation, either in terms of sound or material.
Unlike my classical instruments, these sound sculptures are allowed to sound like they want. The resulting forms have the freedom they desire. But it is precisely because of this that there are always attractive moments of strangeness and closeness. It is the joy of new tonal peculiarities and unfamiliar optical stimuli that guides me here.
